Jag engine not much different - managed 15/16 mixed, 22-23 on motorway/A-road longer runs over the 2 years I had it.... '08 Audi S6 Avant 5.2 V10 with Milltek non-resonated. Vrrrrrrmmmmmph

I got 17-18 normally and even saw 21 on a run.

son has had a 4.4 for a month now he gets 15-17 round the doors and 25 on a run and he drives like a tw@t

17-19 general driving, up to about 23 on a run taking it steady (70mph ish!) Mike

17 short runs, 22 long runs on B roads, 19 hacking it on the motorway(79ish ), about 36p a mile on petrol.

As above bmw 4.4 I get 18-19 combined (according to computer - so probably 16-17 real life)

15-17 mpg is usual. A touch more on a run. Based upon 50000 miles.

Not sure why the 4.2 SC has such a bad name for economy .... I get what most ppl get on the 4.4. |
