Done it too... I slackened off the battery tray (battery out) enough to get my hand down and have a fish around. Got it but it was not easy...... Previously..

Pity spanners were not alive as you could use a worm on a hook or similar |

Front nearside wheel arch liner out. Not as bad as it sounds. Remove wheel, about half a dozen plastic 10mm nuts and a few other screws if you have mudflaps. Takes about 30 minutes.

I did the same but took the battery tray out and reached down inside as the battery was out anyway (I was changing it). Wheel arch liner gets to the same area but I couldn't be bothered fighting with it and taking the wheel off to get in there. |

Its possible to remove the arch liner without taking the wheel off and fish around the fbh for it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
