One question...did you have the bonnet sprayed in situ or did they remove it?

I need to have mine done and the guy has quoted about £300 and I'm wondering if that's reasonable and whether he will remove said bonnet to carry out the work. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

I don't know, they said they would, I removed and refitted the letters and all the other bits with the exception of the bonnet grill which they did. Sorry I can't be more help. Geoff

Did you have to do any prep work on the lettering? Mine are looking a bit sad (Brunel) and I know that the paint can be made up. Another question, spray or brush?

Could be worth investing in a new set of letter from Dan @ Duckworths. The latest TITAN lettering really freshens things up. Thumbs Up

I'm trying to keep the car original as possible.

Letters were actually very easy, got them off with a sharpened scraper and although the bonnet was being sprayed I was careful not to do any damage, masking tape and/or cloth when sliding said scraper under the letters. Then I got the tape residue off, and put my own on, then light rub down, sprayed with Simoniz 5 wheel silver, lots of light coats finished of with some acrylic lacquer -again lots of thin coats. You need to make a template before removing letters so you can stick them back on in right place - they sit on an arc, not straight.
I didn't want Titan on my old bus but I like the slightly brighter look I achieved ( I would say that wouldn't I).
Gary is right you can get new letters fron Dan ( 'cos i rang him to check ) and I assume they come with a decent template but a set is 40 quid or so. The cheap ones on eBay have flat backs OEM are curved backs to fit neatly against curved bonnet also the ones I sent back had a useless template. Don't be fooled they all have curved fronts.
Thumbs Up Geoff

So, final piece close to dropping in place, just ordered some new mirror caps (Oslo Blue) from Dan (yes he still has a few sets left) will get them sprayed and fitted when tailgate is done. I reckon I will break the chrome ones getting them off, particularly as one already has a crack in it Whistle

Is that light I see at the end of the tunnel or is it a train coming the other way......argggh.... Censored Censored Censored Geoff
