Try a back-to-back test in a late low mileage 4.4 TDV8 L322 of a similar spec for £50k less and I know which one you will buy to replace your 3.6. MY23 D350 HSE

This might be a stupid question but what's the difference between an SDV8 and a TDV8? 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

SDV8 is what it's called in the L405, little bit more power, same torque (presumably because of the gearbox rating), but no fundamental changes as far as I'm aware. |

The SDV8 sounds better than the TDV8 - more V8 rumble. MY23 D350 HSE

That will largely be down to the exhaust - listen to a 3.6 TDV8 in a Sport compared with the same in a proper one. |

Will do a write up soon, but here's a photo to keep you busy. Was an AWESOME day out in the new L405.

I know what the "T" stands for in TDV8 but what does the "S" stand for in SDV8? Or am I just thick? 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

Not sure it does other than an indication that it has changed (e.g. TDV6 to higher-performance SDV6). |

Or do you mean the 'seat away' switch on the side of the seat? Allows the rear seat passenger to move the seat forward for more leg room. 2019 D5 HSE Lux SDV6 Indus
