Can anyone tell me what the difference is with pre-2010 rear bumpers versus the later ones?

Is it only the size of the holes for the parking sensors?

Have a look at photos and compare the two ie pre 09 and post.

Main difference is that the facelift bumper uses the newer smaller type parking sensors.

Parking sensor holders are now molded into the bumpers rather then removable so unless you want to replace the PDC sensors with 2009> units and rewire them.....

If I facelift the front to 2010 then this will mean smaller type PDCs so I was thinking the rear would probably look odd with the older type.

So the only solution to make them match would surely be to fit the later type bumper and fit the later PDCs?

Really! Have you not looked at the similarities then? You would do well to tell them apart from the PDC sensors my friend... Better off spending the money elsewhere IMHO...

Ye, a bit of a waste of money if you ask me. Nobody is going to look at your front sensors, remember their size then run to the rear of the car and tell you they are slightly larger...

Ok so I need to replace my existing original PDCs and was wondering whether I should order original replacements or whether the newer ones can be retro fitted without much hassle.

I prefer the look of the later ones as they look slightly more aesthetic and also they may be more reliable?

Suppose the question is do the newer PDCs fit the older bumper recesses without modification and likewise with the wiring. Are the newer ones plug and play with the older type wiring harness?

06 onwards or are you still on about 10my onwards?

The 2010 PDCs will not fit the 02-09 rear bumper.

They are not plug and play as the plugs are different on the new PDCs...
