SWMBO has been there a couple of months ago, rented a house in the city center with a couple of friends when they where visiting an event there during the weekend. Every night it was a circus outside, every night the police came in the appartment building because of drunk youths making to much noise and trouble inside as well as putside on the street. Fighting and lots of trouble on the streets... Would suggest you check their isn't a soccer game when you have to visit since that will add to the fun on the streets...

As suggested, take the train and leave the car at home!! I would...  Mike.

I stayed at a Hotel near the Liver Building and the New Quay area and had a good night out - all very safe and sophisticated in that area.

The Liverpool One car park is clean, covered and secure (and was full of Range Rovers the last time I was there).

As for the 'pool' as long as you don't have your own bricks to prop the car up you should be fine in most parts. I've only ever had one problem after a night out but left many a decent car there during nights out  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
