Coolant on the floor? Above the puddle if there is one. If not prob the rad as the fan will be blowing the coolant over a hot engine and evaporating. Where on the Wirral are you?
P.s as much info as you have will help us to help you Wink [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

If its the front it's either; rad, water pump, hoses. If its never had a rad I would put money on that. New rads about £170 plus fitting. Quite easy if you can use a set of spanners. Hardiest part is gettin the viscous fan off. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Not to sure if its had a new rad only had the car 2 months its 2002 V8 I'm the second owner imactulate service history lots and lots spent on it did have td6 but had nothing but trouble with it. The v8 is miles better and the mpg is not a problem as dont do lot of miles and the V8 noice is the worth the 16.2 mpg

If it's waterpump then you'll see coolant on the front of the engine block, left hand side if looking from the front of the vehicle.
I've just done the water pump on mine and it's not that hard, plus there's a tutorial in the Wiki section of the forum.

I also had a small leak from one of the connections at the bottom left of the radiator but couldn't see it until I'd removed the splash plate under the bumper. There are lots of screws holding it on but it's easy to remove and will give great access for seeing where the leak is coming from. Wink

Your car is of a similar age to mine Dave - I replaced the expansion tank a few months ago as there was a hairline crack in the side of it. It's not a rare problem so might be worth looking closely at the tank as well.
