As the tin tent is sat on a seasonal pitch, I thought I'd double the space and buy an awning. Its a seasonal awning too, so I can leave it up.

I've always considered an awning to be a divorce in a bag The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!

Nothing surer to start an argument than trying to put up an awning.

Are they good quality though? I've seen one in a showroom but that's about it. |

As a motorhomer we often marvel at our neighbours taking half the day putting up their awnings and a whole day cleaning and putting them away.

Well we got it up on Friday. Can't say I'm impressed with it. The instructions looked like a 10yr old had drawn the pics and weren't very informative.

Here's an awning tip I was once told... If you buy a can of mr sheen, one that says wax in it, spray it into the awning channel and the awning pulls round so easily. It really does make a difference. Previously..
