Just been to look at another 3, a 2005 vogue se £14k, a 2003 se 9k and 2004 vogue 11k - none were anywhere near the quality of the one I've put a deposit down on, very scruffy interior, scratches and marks all over panels, bits missing such as reflector lenses, didn't actually test drive any as they all looked poorly cared for.

We were looking for one recently (either Diesel or Petrol). The 'good ones' that we were interested in - which most can probably spot fairly accurately from the adverts - quickly flew from the sellers (I'm talking within a week or so).

In my experience almost all the rear wheel arches I've seen up to around 2008 have had at least specks of surface rust so that really isn't anything that would stop me buying a vehicle. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

I think you are paying a fair price and if the problems are rectified and you like the car just buy it, you may be waiting ages for another one as nice, all to maybe get a few hundred pounds off the price. If your happy go for it I say, I know lots of poor examples asking more money than that |

Thanks, I feel better after seeing what some other dealers had on offer, I might have got better buying private or from the forum but overall I think it's a fair price. I'm just looking forward to getting it now |

Wouldn't have stopped me buying the car either... but annoying/ wouldn't want someone else to miss it and not get it sorted before it left the garage (it is clearly superficial/ aesthetic and a quick/ easy fix)... |

Yes fake exhaust tips would be the first to go! Not too sure about the front grille, Although I quite like square mesh grille you can get. Saying that just spoke to the dealer and the car won't be ready this Friday and the to be honest I got the impression he wasn't telling the truth |

Well I'm not getting the car, I spoke to salesman and at best he provided inaccurate information when asked a specific question regarding the terms and conditions of sale, I spoke to the garage owner and he denies that this was ever said, I cant buy a car from a garage that I know told me incorrect information...so I've lost the deposit but rather that than buy from them! |
