If you only had it serviced on Thursday then, as Katash says, check the oil level and look under the vehicle for signs of oil leaks in case they haven't tightened the drain plug or oil filter.

As above really, i own my own garage and would want to resolve this for you FOC if its our mistake... I fail to see how your car left a garage after a service in that condition though... DO NOT DRIVE it if the oil light is on... This is a critical oil level light not just a warning light...

the oil levels are fine , since the oil press warning light started to flicker I stopped and have had the vehicle lifted home waiting for Monday to take it to a recommended garage.
