Thanks for the ideas... I assume the cabin air sensor is the one in the central dash pillar.

jon, does the temperature read correctly when in manual mode, if it does then concentrate on the temp sensor.. ... - .- -.

Not sure how to read it in manual mode. All the vents come out a different temperature, but of course if you read the overall temp it rises above the setting as warm air never stops being pushed in.

I guess a big ass compressor blowing into the sensor area is not the best thing to do ???? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

If you follow this video and work down to the grille intake panel it should be self explanatory.

Got the unit out but did not have time to do the full job of removing the back panel to reveal the circuit board. Used a hoover on the back of the unit to clear out the fan though and can see it is spinning freely.
