2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I've had the car repaired now in order to get me home. The garage also went over the car as the work was covered by the warranty. We got the car on finance so if we were to give it back we would get our deposit back I guess. To me it sounds like the dealership not being land rover didn't investigate the problem just replaced the battery and that was all. It turned out that the alternator was on its way out and eventually died 1200 miles from home. Surprise surprise the car has 58500 miles on the clock and is the tdv8 on an 07 plate the same as mentioned in the other posts. I've spoken to land rover customer relations and they confirm its got full LR service history. I'll see what happens when I go back to the dealership after my costly holiday Smile

Can you get an overview of all the work done on the car from LR ?? That will give you a good feeling on what sort of issues the car had. Sorry to hear it failed so far from home, hope all your cost was at least covered. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

They've sent me an email confirming its been serviced my land rover at the appropriate intervals. Everything was covered by the warranty and by our breakdown cover. We'll be doing the return journey on Friday so that'll show if anything is wrong still. So fingers crossed its all ok now.
