What price have they offered? I would say let them have it back and find another one. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

They haven't given me a price once I get back from my holiday which I used the car for so I'm stuck waiting for the garage to fix it I'm going to have a meeting with the manager of the dealership. He said we need to come up with a figure we are both happy with. It took me a few months to find what I thought was the right car I can't go that long again. I was tempted to go over to a disco |

You may find the price offered is better if you find another model from that dealer to purchase in return.

If it has been that much trouble, and has been for the full 6 months, you are within your rights to reject it under the sale of goods act. Plenty of information about that on here.

Have to say i agree with the above. Why would you take an offer to buy it back? I would want all my money back....you did not pay the dealer to 'rent' the vehicle did you? Just be polite but firm and demand a full refund, the law would be on your side should you have to go tthat route, but the fact the dealer is already saying he will take the car back tends to admit their liability anyway.
