The garage where I bought the car from did mine. They just had it spot welded back, and its still fine 18 months later.

its a common problem which has been mentioned before...cant remember the exact solution but if you do a search i'm sure you'll find the threads.. ... - .- -.

undo the two little bolts that hold the cover on then slip a big washer in there, fiddly but it works. 03 4.4 V8 petrol / lpg. 1st of many hopefully. I love my Rangie |

Or if they are too corroded, cut them off and buy new ones. Cutting a small section out if your new shields means they can be fitted without removing brake calliper and disc, just make sure you treat the bare metal edge with paint before fitting. See dan @ duckworth for a price, they are only a few quid. |

You would think given their location that Landrover would have used corrosion proof materials Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
