There isn't a direct replacement, instead of the FFRR on the drive I've now got an E class estate and 911 Targa. Lets be honest before the flaming starts, who honest has an FFRR because it can go offroad?

Sorry to hear you had a lemon Andy. Hope you have better luck in the future, at least your current wheels should be a lot more reliable, don't know about the dealers of those though but if you don't need them you're better of anyway MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Umm - Me... They are fantastic off road - from the tame to the the not so. Just got back from a 10 night camping trip that covered 3 states, over 500 KM off road outback driving and the FF handled it all like a pro. The group I was with - all Land Rover owners, but I had the only Rangie, commented on how well it went and were all surprised at how effortless it did some of the tracks and terrain. There was sand, rocks and everything in between. Also taken it into our local State Forest a few times to the surprise of some - on narrow, overgrown tracks (it has needed polishing a few times after these outings) on some tracks where that most would never expect to see on of these. It is unfortunate you have had so many issues with yours. Mine now has just under 200,000 KM on it and still going strong. We now plan to do much more outback touring in it. Apart from my company supplied car, all my vehicles are four wheel drives (and all Land Rovers) I wouldn't own a vehicle that can't go off road, and the FF does it better than the others. Cheers - Gav |

Great post Gav. Good to hear of a FF doing what it was designed to do so well.
