That sounds like the Stratstone Group as that is their policy. To be fair, they are always notably cheaper than other main dealers and also the general open market.

Never paid full asking price for a car in my life and not about to start now as it goes against the grain but, if someone knows they can sell for the screen price I suppose they will hold out... Cheers for the info |

They may not discount, but see what you could get as extras, full tank, new mats/rbber mats, warranty extension, gap etc. it can all add up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

My experience of more southern Stratstone dealers is to just avoid them and go elsewhere like a specialist in the vehicles that's not a main dealer... Maybe Gaz has something that could help you out? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Yeah I heard that story a few times when looking at used FFRRs in the process of buying mine recently. My advice is this. Watch the L-R website and Autotrader noting any FFRRs that have been hanging around for a few weeks. If you fancy one of these, then visit the dealer armed with information on other cheaper FFRRs on the market with roughly the same spec. Demand to pay a particular price that you think the vehicle is worth and be prepared to walk out if they don't agree. Be polite and courteous. Car salesmen are human beings also. Sort of anyway. It is likely the salesman will phone you after a few days but stick to your price and if he doesn't move, forget that vehicle and look at others. Don't forget also that summer is coming and there will be an awful lot of used FFRRs hanging around in the sunshine after everyone has forgotten about the winter snow and especially after buyers start taking delivery of their new FFRRs in greater numbers |

Flash the cash 2 days before the end of the month and if the saleman you hit on hasnt hit his/her sales target for that month and his monthly bonus is at risk I can almost guarantee you will get a deal (may not be the "cheap" deal you want but I bet the screen price is up for discussion) |

I've been into local main dealer twice this month and both times the used car selection on the forecourt seemed to be well down in numbers.
