I'll try that. The dash screen doesn't work anyway, so I might as well unplug it.

Noddy. As you've had a few flat battery episodes, even if you find the drain, it is likely that your battery is no longer up to the job (as Stan said earlier). You may need to get a new battery, then go through all the testing again to make sure. 2012 5.0L S/C

Agreed. Once I find the receipt from euro car parts, it's being swapped

Checked the Satnav the other night and the little LED was flashing. I've disconnected it for now until I can get the dash screen working again.

No issues so far, fingers crossed.

Quite an easy job, the biggest PITA was finding a battery that fitted.

There are a couple of nice chunky spots to tap into on the rear fuse board distribution board inc an 100Amp fused terminal if my memory is correct.

Also the way the system is wired, if you disconnect the main battery the whole system still goes dead, so the pyrotechnic charge on the front battery will still disconnect both.

In fact, for your pleasure I have dug out my old post: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic5721.html

Where did I find the time to post as much as I did!? (oh yeah, whilst at work - LOL)

Did you wait 15 mins for the system to shut down before you assumed this was at fault?

Best way is to fold back the parcel shelf, and open the panel and then close the car up. Opening any door will wake the system up again.

The other telltale that the system is still awake is the LED on the gear selector. The whole time it's lit the whole car is awake still.

When cleaning the car, open every door first, as it's the closing and opening that wakes the car, not the act of having the doors open. Best to turn the interior lights off manually, although they will turn off after 10(?) minutes, but they can get so hot they can distort the plastic lens.

A very small and quiet leak in the EAS suspension can also cause battery drain (from experience)

When I put my rear suspension back together I didn't get the airbag connector quite right. No sounds of hissing but over a 12 hour period the bag would completely deflate.

However, the EAS tried to keep up with the air loss by running the compressor at regular intervals.

If there is a very minor (more minor than I have described) leak in the system somewhere, this could contribute to battery drain and you may not know it was the EAS as the compressor was able to keep up with the leak? .

Joe90, the levelling performed every few hours (6?) should only ever be "down".

So if one corner had a leak and dropped an inch, the remaining 3 corners would be lowered to match, until it hits the bump stops. This is why if you park on uneven ground it will sometimes lower itself to the stops.

Doesn't happen! One corner dropped, once the car had run out of air, the others stayed up. "Tested" in Std and O/R height. .

Dan- I didn't bother checking that thoroughly. As the dash screen hasn't worked for some months now (due to either a poor connection or the unit u/s in the boot), I don't have a need for a working satnav so I just unplugged it for now.

If that's not working then I'd start around that area... Maybe it has some moisture in there.
