If you mean, "Can I transfer my PC stuff onto a Mac", then yes. The Mac comes with a PC migration tool that moves everything (except the applications) - all your data, photos, videos, email, iTunes, web favourites etc are moved.

Computer tech just ain't my thing Laughing I'm going to nip into pc world later today.
Here is what I need I think.
Windows office
Wireless built in for the net
1tb Hard drive
4gb hard drive
Cd drive
4x USB ports

Data will all move, but any software you have bought will most likely not, or at least not without some expense/effort.

There is a migration tool you can use, but as above, I already had a 1Tb USB3 drive, so I just used that - they can be had for £60 (I bought a Samsung from Amazon) and are useful for backups anyway.

It's got windows 8 do I've not got a clue how to work it. Laughing

You have a licence with it that allows you to downgrade to windows 7 usually Smile every new machine i do at the minute uses this option as its just too much of a tablet OS in the wrong market Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Doable bit not necessarily simple if you're not confident with this topic. Note that Windows 8 OEM only allows downgrade to Windows 7 Pro, which you might not want - if you want home premium eg to get Media Center then you're stuck.

i just brought my son a new laptop with win8 on it and he was apprehensive to use it but after a few weeks he says its better and faster than win7... stick with Brian and i'm sure you will like it. ... - .- -.
