OK. Got the idea. I squeezed each joint ever so slightly and avoided putting any pressure on the rivet which holds each joint in place. I didn't over do it so no breakages for once! I'll give it a go tomorrow. Got a long motorway trip so will probably get lots of use. I'll report back.

After a gentle squeeze on each of the joints as indicated I had a very short run in light drizzle today. Not a definitive test but certainly all quiet! So far so good. Thanks for the tip 2012 5.0L S/C

Bosch wipers all the way, sort the thump out straight away...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Yes indeed. Mine were Bosch and were great for a few months but even they started to thump, although less than with originals, after a while. This tip seems to have sorted it for now and is repeatable 2012 5.0L S/C

Ok- I've bought a pair of 808's, done a search and can't find it anywhere- how do I get the old ones off? There's a rectangular plate on the wiper fronts with "LOCK" and an arrow. What do I do with that? |

Slide the rectangular plate in the opposite direction to the 'lock' arrow and the wiper just pulls straight out '04 td6 se

Massive improvement. No more thud, window clears a lot better. My old ones must have been shot! |
