If you have stripped the thread I think there is enough room to put a half nut on a longer screw |

there is a spring it sits in the latch behind the angled plunger if you look at the latch underneath is a slot the sprung shoots out from there and thats where you put it back in its fiddley I think mine got lost and I replaced with a biro spring from memory the type I used was the stronger type tighter wound at each end if any one knows what im on about |
