Breakdown Cover - ADAC

Whilst researching breakdown cover on the web I kept coming across
ADAC, apparently Germanys largest ?
Many of the enthusiast forums use it as it includes the Nurburgring

Not that I am taking the FF on the 'ring , only Euro-Disney Razz

Anyway, I don't sprechen ze Deutsche , so I sent an email with my mobile number last night to their English speaking contact...

Well to my amazement, they called back.... Done whole lot over the phone
€95 euros, annual policy incl UK !
If you call them in UK.... Their affiliate is the AA !!!! Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

£79.99 Any vehicle under 10 years old including full recovery.

To be honest , the European breakdown cover was the main reason I wanted them. The thought of having an issue in France Big Cry

One-trip euro cover from Eurotunnel is £105 (14.99 day!)

That story on here the other week about RAC woes put me right off... Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

From memory annual UK & European recovery cover from Insurance Choice is £70 (they transport the car to the nearest garage and if they can't repair then repatriate the car and occupants home). No connection to them, but I was insured with them when I broke down in Switzerland and the recovery to the local garage (and potential repatriation) all worked well.

I just use moneysavingexpert to compare and pay about £50 for a UK policy including Euro cover through the Green Insurance Co.

They are also pretty good as I had to use them when I broke down in London, got them to bend the rules on the transport distance to the nearest dealer and got them to deliver my car from central London to Wickford in Essex. Tom
