Hi all, new to RR's, not got one yet but I have wanted one FOREVER Laughing

I have a budget of around 6k but could go to 7k. Not much I know but it's something.

I have looked at the site on and off for about a week since I came across after Googling something about RR's.

Looks like a nice friendly place with some very knowledgeable members. I am no mechanic but with decent instructions I don't mind having a go at things.

Anyway, going to make my 2nd post shortly about a FFRR I saw on Autotrader today, need a few pointers Very Happy

Good job on the site admin Thumbs Up

Hi Everyone

Please to have found you for help advice and support (hopefully both ways!)

Been on the rangie.com mailing list for quite a while, but not too much experience on the L322 there.

Cheers

Hi everyone,i have been lurking for a while but have decided to join.I currently have a 1997 P38 autobiography that i am selling to fund a L322 ffrr.I have recently sold my winch challenge car and have decided to get a ffrr before i blow all my ££££s on pointless things Very Happy
I was on the disco3 forum when i found this site(was originally considering a D3 but prefer the rangie).Ideally i would like a 4.4 vogue with lpg but would consider a td6 if the right one comes along. If my P38 sells i will have upto around £16-17k.Alternatively if anyone wants to downsize??? Wink

Yes,i was looking at that Shocked ,very nice looking car and in a nice colour combination too and a very reasonable price but if i am honest i would prefer the 4.4.I was a landrover master technician for 7 years(upto 2006) but now work for myself re-building and replacing chassis on landrovers.

Welcome Colin Thumbs Up

Yes the Range Rover is the best car in the world (then I would say that wouldn't I?)

Also Ref - Top Gear Boys and Autocar Magazine in recent polls

Recently joined fullfatrr.com myself and have been really impressed with the wealth of knowledge that is available from other members here - (no snooty opinions, comments or pointless and abusive arguments - unlike a couple other motoring forums I could mention)

A silly sense of humour occasionally (usually on a Friday evening when some of the fullfat regulars are halfway through their 2nd bottle of champers / wine / vodka etc.) Laughing

Enjoy yourself - look forward to reading your future comments...

What model Rangie do you have - oh I see ... another perfectionist Cool

Hi all, I've just bought myself an '05 Autobiography in black. I'll post pics when it arrives this weekend.

The salesman didn't have to work to hard to get a sale...... the car is mint........ hopefully reliable too.

First things first though, the dog will ruin those lovely leather seats if I don't get a dog guard. I'll put a post in the wanted section.

Chris
