Well Injectors replaced and after a quick run while the engine is smoother the issue is still there Sad

See this video for what is going.

Once the engine has been started it needs to fully cool down before it will start again or needs easy start type stuff to get going. I only need the smallest squirt of this and its direct into the inlet manifold, the inlet pipe is then reattached and clamped back on and then i go round and start it. Its not a rushed or speedy process but as i hate using the stuff i like to use the tiniest amount possible and let it stay in the air as much as possible.

Can i disconnect the ECU and see if that flushes it out?

Land ranger wont come out to me and have said if i get it over to them for friday they could have a look at it then.. Problem is i may not make it all the way there! and if i go say half way tonight and then the other half tomorrow at least it would cool down plenty between visits!

Anyone any ideas on this at all?

All i can think is fuel rail pressure sensor fault (seems to tally with the fault codes so far generated) or high pressure pump on the fritz. which doesn't happen to often in the BMW's but does still happen and not as much as the injectors!

Will, have you tried the underbody pump? We change these quite alot and all won't start but will with easystart then run quite happily... Usually down to diesels being wrongly filled with petrol though...

Changed recently and i can hear it priming and the fuel going thru the filter into the clear line with no bubbles so thats flowing ok as well as the intank one Sad both replaced late last year although the underslung pump didn't actually need replacing Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

No petrol in it at the minute as far as i know. just 75litres of sainsburys stuff...

Its going on charge again tonight and i'll get it cranking again tomorrow with an assistant while i try some very tiny doses of easy start while waiting for my diag machine to come... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Could be drawing air from somewhere on the intake side, ie any pipework between the air filter and engine and also the inlet manifold gasket. if you suspect anywhere you could try spraying some easystart at the area and see if the engine revs change. it might work. also try disconnecting the maf sensor to see if that makes any difference and try cleaning the sensor too. does it run ok when reving higher under boost? '04 td6 se

As an update this is what my MSV2 is telling me Sad

P0191 - RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR OFF-SET TEST (RDS). (CURRENTLY ACTIVE)

P0380 - GLOW PLUG RELAY FAILURE. GLOW RELAY DEFECTIVE. (CURRENTLY ACTIVE)

http://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/albums/us...elling.pdf

Also the above link should show the pressures I'm seeing.

Can anyone with a TD6 confirm the pressures i should be seeing on these?

The 3 letter codes for the injectors are missing from the config as well so i'll take the engine cover off later when home and fill that data in and see if it helps but I just want to check if the readings are right as im thinking i may need to replace the injector pump to get the car going again Sad

PS voltage looks low but is 3rd cranking attempt to get the readings so comes back up quickly when stopped Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
