yes if just dip are on o there own, they both go out it i put the lever to main beam, the other ones come on as well and again after 17 sec they all go off at the same time for 2/3 sec then all come on again.

well if it is that, then im happy with that even if it is around £300. its whether i just take the chance and change it or pay probably the same amount again for the guys here to tell me just that, and end up paying double bubble

Have you found the LCM yet? I would start with checking every connection to it, take them off then on again. Previously..

You could have a look at fuses 9,4 and 53 which are 5A, 5A and 30A respectively or even change them for piece of mind but I don't think you will find anything.

hi contraband, yes i have been given the whereabouts of the LCM, if is behind the A pillar by the drivers door. i havent looked at it yet as it was snowing like a bas ard on sunday.

you might consider buying a IIDTool which should give you an error code to work with...the only problem will be the time it takes for it to be delivered to you... ... - .- -.

firstly alanm3, thanks for that, makes things a bit cheaper , thinking about this a bit more, would i need to have a garage program this before it would work or could i just unplug the old one and fit the new one

I'm not sure about this but I think a replacement LCM, new or used, has to be programmed to the car using Testbook.

ok, thanks for that; nothing is easy is it , ok guys i will have a check around the unit and its connections, check the fuses etc etc, and if nothing changes, see if i can find a garage that WILL put the testbook on it.

hi everybody. sorry i did not continue with this post but i have had a some rather huge problems to deal with personally over the last few months and thankfully it is all now sorted out so i have not been on the net for several months.
