Towbar standard?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if a towbar is standard on a fullfat? Or do they have everything ready for one?
Thanks

No they are not standard. Quite a few have them though

The oem westfalia bars are bolt on and the gen landrover wiring is plug and play so doable diy.

Have a search there is plenty on here about types and electrics. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

They are not standard but it's as easy as it could ever be to fit one. Even the hole in the body to allow the electrics into the boot is already in place. Electrics are plug in, no soldering or any of that silliness. Just buy the kit you want (13 pin, 7 pin or dual 7 pin) and off you pop.

Main towbar beam is standard item and then you have a 2" square receiver for your choice of hitch, i.e a socket for the removeable swan-neck, a height adjustable farmer's style hitch, or if you really want one, a US style 2" extension bar with a 2" ball.

The genuine Land Rover one (in case you're tempted) is made by Westfalia. If you buy Westfalia on line you will get it for way less than LR will charge you.

How much of a job is it to convert the two 7 pin plugs to the newer 13 pin single plug?

Change of loom + 2 x 13mm bolts. Remove spare wheel if you have fat hands or use small child instead. 15 minute job.
