I've read in the past that G4 vehicles were stripped of all the expedition ancillaries prior to disposal . . . .

As naff as it looks at the moment, I reckon it's a G4 Whistle

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

I reckon its a G4 that looks like its been stripped !!!!! If you paid G4 money and turned up at your local 4WD meet and said Ive got a G4 you would be Censored off when everyone laughed at you, especially with your G4 (2) number plate Rolling with laughter One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Yeah, maybe on a bog standard one. Definitely not on something like a G4 though. It should be original. You wouldn't fit LPG to the 1st of the Velars and neither should something as special as a G4 be messed with IMHO.

Hmmm anything that makes it more useable and can be completely removed cant be a bad thing, on gas my FFRR is no worse to run than many decent family saloons, funny thing is going to work for a week my Suzuki Hayabusa only used about £15 less fuel than the RR Big Cry One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

That looks nice but must be cold even in good leathers and all at this time of year... Needs some plastic moudlings up front to hide the exposed framework me thinks as it couldn't pass an MOT/IVA like that... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

KP - certainly not all sold "as is" - I've seen two sold before through the main dealer network without all the ancillary kit. Besides, Equicar used to sell loads of (used) G4 kit unattached to a RR . . . .

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

I've yet to see one that was actually stripped before selling off as the info i got from LR was that it was deemed cost ineffective as it would take more time to strip and then they would be left with parts that couldn't easily be sold on or re-used, and leaving on the vehicles made them more attractive.

Shockingly the guy hasn't given me the VIN so i can check if its a real G4 vehicle... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
