hi,

i have a 04 range rover hse under the wingmirrors are what appears to be a round clear lens about 30mm round, are these lights ? if so how do you access the blubs

They are indeed lights which are activated when you unlock the car.

Not sure how to access them as I haven't got around to it yet. TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

This was asked recently and we never got an answer from the chap taking them apart and the owners manual and workshop manual do not state how its done.

My only advice is that it will either clip in and snap out or it will screw in.

hi, they are the same as the x5, you get to them by removing the back cover of the mirror ,heres a link, if you are changing them,go for the led ones far brighter then standard but still not as good as the 06 on mirrors

thanks, i have looked for a suitable led but am baffled by the choice, would someone be really helpfull here and post a link to the correct led bulb that will fit and work and not give error messages.

The wingmirror light fades in and out doesnt it led light as for as i no dont fade they are either in or off  02 Range Rover HSE Zambezie silver 4.4

i dont think the mirror bulbs are part of the warning system so should not give you a prob, you want to use only forward facing bulbs.

these are brighter 1.5w bulbs and should fit

you dont get a great amount of light from them any way so try to find the brightest ones

He doesn't even get out of the van.. how clever is that!
