FSR is definatly worth a try. Whole dash has to come out. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Johnny you can with a bit of chopping awat the plastic remove the motor from the top without removing the whole lot .

if you look at this vid
you will see the motor houseing in the hole . if you carefully make the hole bigger you can remove the motor .

would not do this on any body elses car but will on mine if i have to. Who said bodge it and scarper lol

now in a nice warm full fat range rover again  have hawkeye diagnostics for l322 td6 in the manchester area ,pm for deatalis.

Im afraid its already been claimed dude, theres a whole matrix on Ebay for £60, I think I paid £80 for my motor and it arrived with this plastic bit snapped, I called the firm and they sent another out FOC straight away. Thats a bit like the cutting under the seat to change jag series 1,2 and 3 handbrake pads !!! also a little cut of the 90 degree turn on the matrix pipes and it was 1 hour to do a matrix and not about 15 !!!!! One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

i reckon you can get the motor out if you open the hole out towads the windscreen and to the sides be a tight squezz but saves takeing the whole dash out.

BUT AS SAID BEFORE WOULD NOT DO IT TO SOMEBODY ELSES CAR

well just got the heater blower motor out of car , a bit of surgury to the plastic and no need to spend two days striping the whole dash out as I thought only need to remove half inch at top of hole and two inches at bottom will post some pics when putting new motor in as forgot to take some today. only took a hour to get motor out

now to buy a new motor any body got one for sale (wasnt carbon bushes after all baring very stiff )

mrd1990... will save you over a grand and 14 hrs labour like i said its about half inch of top of hole and about two/three inches off bottom of hole ,its a tight squesse so watch your fingers (sharp plastic slices fingers) motor orderd so waiting for it to be deliverd and will post some pics of the hole when refitting

Just ordered new blower with warranty from fleebay.. wish me luck!

no didnt glue any of the plastic back as the top of dash covers the hole.

be carefull not to damage the fins when replacing blower motor

its quite easy realy just make the hole big enough have hawkeye diagnostics for l322 td6 in the manchester area ,pm for deatalis.

Well tried today without success

I made the hole big enough, but I can't get the blower to come up, hopefully these photos show the problem
