i agree using the front fogs with standard halogen bulbs is daft but replacing the bulbs with leds and using them as drl's is acceptable..

And most of the "dazzling" (yes Audi/Citreon!) DRLs fitted to newer cars are often at the same height as fog lights on a FFRR.

i had my 'mod' for 2 years and never ever got stopped by the police here or abroad....i think we have to agree that driving during the day with leds or halogens in the fogs is a good thing because of the 'i can see you coming ' aspect but the fogs/drl's must switch off when the headlights are on..

also something to do with beam pattern apparentely, if the mod is to be seen I don't see why you would not drive on dipped beam, same as most bikes. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching! ![]() |

positioning is irrelevant, the fiat 500 has drl's below the bumper and they look like fogs, the porche has very bright strips below the bumper and there are loads of others... ... - .- -.

I'm not saying its a bad thing Stan, I like the idea. Helps you be seen, and by God, sometimes a FFRR can be very invisible to some drivers.

Am I right in thinking that the DRLs on a RR are just the side lights? One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching! ![]() |
