United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

chaps, mine is 8 years old, HSE TD6, one of the first registered I think (march 2002) and I have just completed a round trip of nearly 2,000 miles to the Alps and back. 26MPG at 85MPH. I even drove back myself all the way. Not even tired! It's me burfday tomoro and my present to myself is to take the old girl out to a fine hostelry with me pa and lord it around the country for the day.

It may not be the best car (the stereo's on the blink again) but I smile every time I get in: and that's never happened whenever I got into my Hermann the German mobiles previously.

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

After working 13hrs on the Dudley protest yesterday, all I wanted to do was go to bed. I drove home in the FF and fell asleep on the settee. I woke at 11pm realising I'd left my locker open at work. I was going to leave it, but a little voice in my head nagged at me, so I got back in the car to drive back. I was angry with myself but after a couple of miles, I calmed down thanks to the FF and even took the long way home at midnight. It was great! It's times like this that a normal car just doesn't cut it! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I like my FFRR very much and would love to have another, if I could afford one a year or two old.

But I do find it interesting how car drivers tend to look at it, when at the lights. But drivers of other 4x4s (such as RRS, D3/4, X%, Cayenne etc...) tend to stare straight ahead and avoid eye contact.

They must know it's better too. Wink
