Pre Heater

I've heard a lot of people talking about the internal heater coming on with the key. I bought my RR without a manual and don't have a clue about this extra.

How do I know I have this fitted? how do I know I've activated it? Sounds a bit noddy and maybe it is obvious but I haven't noticed it yet?

Cheers mate.

Search and Wiki are great but you need the correct terminology. I should have at least known it was called FBH though. So thanks for that.

The consensus is that it's generally not needed on the petrols. I hit the "Max" program button and it tends to warm within a few mins anyway.

That is exactly true. Big V8 petrol motor puts out much waste heat and heats a large RR interior easily even on the coldest of days. Effecient diesel converts nearly all fuel energy into forward motion and needs help on very cold days with the large RR interior. Whistle
