I was sat outside derby station yesterday waiting for a delayed train, tv on i thought, but the reception was .

I know that the aftermarket tints i have can cause the radio reception to be pants, which it is. Is there any way to get a better tv reception, presumably if i put an additional antenna on the rear glass it will also have pants signal as its behind the tint?

Ideally something in the roof antenna would be good..... Is this possible?

you're correct in saying that aftermarket tints do cause reception problems thats why you should get carbon based tints which dont have any metal in them...

as for your problem i would firstly check the amp is ok and the connections are sound and clean, if that doesnt help then maybe wire in an aftermarket antenna ..

also, could it be that that location was rubbish for tv reception? ... - .- -.

When i bought it, it had the tints but i was naieve as to all the issues, also whether they were lr or after market.

Now i know, in hind sight i would have chosen a different car, there were a few to choose from.

Will check the connections, is there a separate amp for the antenna? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
