Does this allow coding of any components for example a new steering angle sensor has to coded to the vin of the car I believe. Also does it use a normal usb-usb cable and is this included? One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Yes, it allows component initialization. The SAS was one of the final missing items that will be contained in the coming FW release (next couple of weeks).

I would not worry. One of the major benefits of these great bits of tech is they are so simple to use. A read of the manual will help if you are not sure of anything.

Jay and Sal, the IIDTool is pretty intuitive and easy to use, i used it and i aint to bright ..there is a breakdown of functions on the Gap site that helps... ... - .- -.
