Got mine from LRParts.net for £285.90 including delivery. I don't like using BritPart due to them being complete bellends (This is my opinion and other peoples viewpoints may differ).

Hi Jay,
We are not supposed to recommend specific dealers (favoritism). I can tell you that his is a good price, tho. I wouldn't sell it at that if I was doing retail... Laughing

ASP's advice is good...

BTW, Britpart do not do retail. Wholesale only.

How much is the dealer version as I cannot find one. Also awkward that its split between to Model Year variants....

You're welcome, Jay.

You have to get upset at LR for that, Gary. Laughing We only load one type of firmware onto a tool at one time and the types are split according to the LR systems the fw has to be adapted for.

We don't have an official garage version yet. Please send us an email to support@our site.com and I'll let you know how we can set you up.

Hi Noddy,
Our agreement with Britpart is exclusive. Wouldn't make much sense for them to put money into advertising, sales, and what not and then have us run around undercutting there sales by going directly to the customers (it'd be great for us, tho - free promotion and higher profit margins than what we get wholesale Laughing ).

Whilst people are talking about this IID tool, a couple of questions.
If your air suspension is not level can you alter just one corner with the iid tool? One of my corners is about 10mm lower than the others?
When you buy one will it only work for one range rover, do you have to enter your VIN number into it or do you plug it straight into the range rover?

Hi Oliver,
The short answer is 'yes'. The IIDTool can solve your height problem on the one corner. The longer answer is that while the IIDTool will allow you to raise and lower the suspension settings all together or front or rear individually by simply entering the menu item and pressing + or -, one comer out of adjustment will require a calibration.

Are you sure that the EAS is really calibrated incorrectly, though? 10mm is within the tolerance of normal EAS operation. Check the height on various surfaces - finding a completely flat surface is not easy.

The IIDTool offers functionality well beyond all other diagnostic tools in its price category. To offer this level of functionality required a large amount of development - the only way for us to offer the IIDTool at the price we do is by selling a large number of units. For this reason, the IIDTool is locked to one VIN (which is read automatically during the activation - you do not need to enter it manually). Additional VIN licenses can be purchased for a nominal fee.

To put the functionality into perspective: the only other diagnostic system with similar functionality costs close to 4x as much as the IIDTool for a single-VIN license. All other systems offering this level of functionality without a VIN lock are well into the thousands (possibly excluding subscription based services such as JLRs own IDS/SDD where you pay £395.00 for the dongle plus the subscription fee of: 1 hour £144-90, 1 Day £170.10, 1 Week £296.10, 1 Month £485.10, 1 Year £737.10).

All this info is available on our website, though. A click on my signature will take you there Razz .

Ordered today.

You will all get Pi Censored off with me asking questions when it arrives.

I would like to meet up with someone local if possible who already has one so i can get some tips as i'm going to be scared to plug the thing in.

Anyone within 40-50 miles of would be good.
