Mutley, try mbclub25 - that seems to work for 25% off most things, batteries included

Get a Halfords trade card. Easy to get in store there and then, knock yourself up a headed notepaper and job done..

Battery would have cost you £60. Thumbs Up

Well that Bosch is a bastid Censored fit how can a company make a battery designed to fit the RR & make it to big, I have jiggled pushed it connected at angle & used a rubber mallet, I finally got it to fit reconnected it all but can only get the left battery clamp down as the other side is covered by this stupid sized battery.

Although I only got one side clamped it is so jammed in I dont think it will move Evil or Very Mad

I have to say consumers should not have to put up with this Censored Censored

Fingers crossed it stays put, I have tested the car all working as it should, no messages, not really impressed by Bosch Evil or Very Mad Mutt

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Zermatt Silver

The S5 is bigger than the standard battery

I fitted mine this afternoon and it is very tight, but cutting the lip at the bottom off on the negative side gives approx 1cm additional space and the you can re-clamp all the terminals correctly

Without cutting the lip off, I would not have been able to fit the battery in my vehicle.... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car!

Hi Graeme, I did not think about cutting the plastic off for it to fit, but I am not going to move it now, I cant guarantee I can get it out LOL Laughing

I will see how it goes if I have not problems I will just leave it were it is Whistle it is stupid though to manufacture something that does not fit without you cutting it in, I presume that Censored the 5 year warranty Evil or Very Mad

As usual 5 minute job turns into to 1.5 hours Laughing Mutt
