Halfrauds vs euro car parts

Decided to change my battery given the fact I don't know it's history (had the car a week) and I'm off on a 400 mile trip to Aberdeen where the car will be sat in a car park for a week. Iv tested for battery drain but I really don't feel like chancing my hand and being stranded when I try to come home.

Anyways, I'm sure I could have shopped around even more but time isn't on my side. I opted for the top of the range Bosch S5 (110AH/920CCA) as I'm a firm believer you get what you pay for. Halfrauds wanted £159.99 whilst euro car parts were asking £134.14 it gets better though because with discount code BATTERY15 I got a 15% discount so £113.17 for the best battery with 5 years peace of mind warranty.

Very happy!

Censored !!

Well that's just put out my little fire, let me know if you manage to find it. I can always return and re-purchase en route to my mates garage tomorrow.

Thanks

Steve

It most certainly does, thanks northernmonkey. I'm driving right past the place tomorrow so will pop in and get a refund.

Might sound a bit petty but I will ensure the extra savings go to the radio city children's Christmas appeal so every little does help!

Cheers Rob I think so too. The company my girlfriend works for has been quite involved this year and tomorrow is the last day to get the gifts in before radio city collects them.

Thumbs Up

Brillant a big thanks for this I have just ordered one & I am collecting it after 2pm, Bosch £113 quid bargain Mr. Green Thumbs Up

I am off to the Alps for 3 weeks plus & the car will stand a bit & I had noticed since the cold weather came that she was a bit hesitant to start so I decided new battery was needed, I presume I can just take the old one out & fit the new one with no problems or do I have to follow a procedure to make sure the car does not explode Whistle ?? Mutt
