going to ask a stupid question i expect but hey, it is christmas afterall. , anyway, i still have to original 2004 disc in the gps, and am wondering if apart from actual road layouts etc, is there anything else on the 2012 disc that would be worthwhile in adding to the system should i decide to update as i live in rural france, the disc i currently have seems fine showing most if not all the roads as far as i can see so just wondering if it is worth the money to update, and if so, is it simply a case of popping the new disc in and hey presto?

Think the 2004 (non touch screen system) uses a CD system and not the newer DVD system |

Hi Bob, i bought a new disc from Navteq 2 years ago, i have a 2002 Vogue. The standard CD will just give you an updated map with no additional facilities.......I found it worthwhile the roads change ove the years and yes you just load it like a normal CD |

Ahh in that case the 'updated' DVD will work. |

Sorry mate, assumed Contraband sent you one. Stan, your absolutely right, Pirates are filthy scum who should all be lined up and shot. PM me your email address Bob so I can discuss something completely unrelated with you please |
