This was my big fella, sadly he went to heaven a couple of months ago after 13.5 years with me and is still sorely missed.

Rest in Peace big fella, we miss you dearly

its surprising how quickly they become part of the family , been there myself when we lost our first dog after 17 years so i know how you feel John... ... - .- -.

@47p2 it's tough when they have to leave you, he looks like he was a top dog. My 14 year old lab passed away two years ago and is still really missed. Having another 6 month old retriever, fills a gap.

@Pitsnow. Bear looks great, I bet you can't wait for Christmas to be over. We were very close to getting a Bernese earlier this year. Current MY2020

The wife wanted a Pug but i said i wouldn't walk a pug. I wanted a Jack Russell so we settled for a JUG which is a cross.
He's 2 now and has calmed down a lot. Its the Wife's dog really but he won't leave my side. Which winds her up a treat

Had to put our old lab to sleep yesterday...perhaps should have done it sooner but you always hope that they will improve even if deep down you know they won't.
