same 'problem' here.
i sounds like it comes form the passenger side front bulk head.
did not hear it over the sumer/autumn. but more frequently when outside temp is about 5ish or below
i put it down to the parking heater. as it is in the location where the noise is coming form and it was used in the diesels as they they run so cold.. 2011 4.4 TdV8 Nara Bronze

where are you in the UK?? It may help if someone else who knows the FBH sounds could listen?

Also try the timed climate and see if its the noise and if not at least it will clean the FBH out a bit  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Have you checked the passenger side mirror?

It could be a sticky/failing motor on that. Remember it also dips when you select reverse so does that correspond with the noise?

sounds like a pulley? where in the engine bay is it coming from? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Sounds like the FBH. My one makes the same noise. Only hear it at this time of the year when it switches itself on. Never a squeak or groan for the warmer months. Previously..

Done another check by switching the FBH on with the bonnet open. Not the same sound. The FBH is a constant low level noise which is not overly intrusive. The other noise is actually quite invasive into the cabin and sounds alot louder
