Almost captured the noise today, but by the time I had my phone ready it had stopped. From the outside it sounds very dodgy. 2011 Stornaway Grey 5.0SC Autobiography |

Managed to get a recording of the noise. This is from outside, and while a bit constant on the recording is normally a little more random

Not sure yet. Only occurred to me afterwards to open the bonnet, but by that time the noise had stopped.

Sounds like the FBH. My one makes the same noise. Only hear it at this time of the year when it switches itself on. Never a squeak or groan for the warmer months. Previously..

Done another check by switching the FBH on with the bonnet open. Not the same sound. The FBH is a constant low level noise which is not overly intrusive. The other noise is actually quite invasive into the cabin and sounds alot louder
