Its unrelated - but I had an irritating rattle in the cabin that I was positive was coming from the passenger side. When SWMBO was in the passenger seat she swore it was coming from the drivers side. It turned out to be sunglasses rattling in the overhead holder (middle) - easy fix!!

Sure there is a post somewhere which references a noise relating to the parking sensors, my 07 does it sometimes, more prevalent after heavy rainfall. It usually lasts a very short period of time and is very intermittent, therefore it remains un-diagnosed in my case. First time I heard it, it was a very peculiar noise which didn't sound like normal engine /suspension noise issues I'd encountered in the past with other cars.

I have the exact same noise, always does it on cod start up after engine running for about 1 min, but then re do it later for no apparent reason! I stopped once and popped the bonnet and was very loud and seem to one from the air box, still haven't diagnosed the problem Range rover tdv8 56. Vogue

Had a good hunt around, and not necessarily any further on, but am trying things in order.... Problem with intermittent faults... No idea if fixed or not.
