I'm going to buy my mum one of these for christmas and as I'm going out to Cape Town before Xmas I thought I'd pick one up Duty Free in Dixons Travel.

The trouble is, I don't know if they will have any and the Apple website says they despatch theirs in 2 wks.

I managed to get the phone number for Dixons in T3, they were surprisingly helpful. The chap took my details and said if they get any stock they will call me and put my name on one, let's hope they get some before I go through.

I rang my local Apple store and they also have no stock, they can't reserve any and they didn't even know if they would get any more before Xmas - how crazy is that?
