Latch has failed i would imagine... It does not know the door is closed hence the int lights not turning off and then wont lock an open door...

had this the other day when i thought i'd shut the tailgate..open and close and all ok, yours could be a sticky latch like what Craig said.. ... - .- -.

Had it several times in the past and re-opening and closing the doors/tail hatch makes it go away. Annoying but that's it. Maybe since winter is approaching it is time to spray all the locks with some good quality silicone spray (silicone is hydrophobic so it drives the water out). Keeps the locks from freezing. While you are at it, put some talcum powder on all the door rubbers to prevent freezing and keep them from drying out. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Nope, talcum powder is the old school way of keeping your door rubbers nice and soft. My dad used to do it a few times a year (he was very much a preventive maintenance person, his cars hardly ever break down, which was impressive driving Triumph and Rover for decades ) and he never had any door opening issues in the horribly wet Dutch winters. I used to wait a little too long and ended up with doors and locks being frozen shut
