could be a short in the seat causing the excess heat.. ... - .- -.

There is a built in thermistor I think its called that can sometimes fail and is not a problem unique to LR, every manufacturer heated seat has it happen after a while if the element doesn't give out first! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

This was a customers car a few weeks ago! Be aware! Only outward sign was a hot spot on the seat...

The older cars heating elements in seats and steering wheel do this when they get on a bit and as Craig says its replacement or possible fire I am afraid..... |
