I have found now that its getting a little cooler outside that it takes about 6 miles before the temp gauge gets to half way, thats in town driving as well. is this normal Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty, nothing else matters.

About the same usually unless i use timed climate.

The engines are very heat efficient and with the amount of air around them in the engine bay and airflow over them they take that much longer Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Ive read much on here and other forums about the FBH, apparently all TD6's have it fitted, but is only controllable if you have a fob or a screen.

As mine is only a HSE, and i dont have a screen or a fob to controll it.

Do i have FBH if so when does it work or do i need to fit a webasto kit to get it to work.

Ive just pulled fuse number 59 out and a fan stopped working then worked when the fuse replaced. According to the owners book thats the fuse to the Aux heater. Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty, nothing else matters.

The FBH just comes on to warm the car up when starting from cold. There is a section on FBH Q & A in the wiki about how (and when) it works.

If its any consolation, I have a Vogue with a screen, and still can't get it to come on with the timer...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I believe if you get the front entertainment module's software updated, you will be able to use timed climate on the touch screen.
I've had a chat with a garage that uses Autologic diagnostics and he thinks he can do it.

I will keep you updated.

Obviously this is only relevant forearly touch screen models.
