Very easy! Chances are you'll break the pad wear sensor (only one side), so you might as well get one at the same time as the pads! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

No computers required as far as I know. I had the rear callipers and pads replaced here in Nigeria by our mechanics and no issues. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

You will/may have to push the pistons back a bit to get the new pads in, and therefore also may have to remove a bit of brake fluid from the master cylinder (or catch the overspill). It is quite easy to make up a piston pusher - see here

Thumbs Up .

Light should go out once the new sensor has been replaced

very simple to change the pads. As for a calliper pusher, just get a halfords one, it does the job fine.

To push the calliper piston pack, I normally open up the bleed nipple when pushing it back to let the old fluid out. also makes it easier to push in. V8 or else ...

A G-clamp works fine for me when pushing the piston back in. Previously..

Yup - a G clamp worked very well when I replaced all the pads last year.
