..... From LR. 'Please would you like to test drive the new RR somewhere nice for half a day on your own at the end of Oct?' Censored I am away! So booked for Feb.

My source says: Demo cars together with first customer cars will appear at the same time for market introduction mid-january. Confirmed new orders are currently moving forward in the production schedule. RR's that are part of my car timeline since I bought my first RR Classic in 1999:

We got some VIP shows/test-drive for the L405 here from November to December 2012.

In switzerland was already a VIP static preview in a castle at the 11.9.2012 with max. 20 people per time slot Unfortunatley I had no time. My friend was there. It had two RR there and a designer from England introduced them. Afterwards you could ask für nearly two hours all the questions you want it. Daniel

They had one parked up outside our office yesterday on a stand - they were happy to let people sit inside it, but no test drives forthcoming.

It does look nice though.

Visit the Piet Boon offices this evening. The whole week Landrover Netherlands is showing two L405's on invitation only. Wow, this car is nothing short of spectacular.

I also saw the real color leather samples and was surprised to see such a difference from the picture in the catalogs. Also took a picture of dark atlas.
