There are crappy bits in Continental GTs and Flying Spurs too (not that it's any excuse).

The guy I spoke to who works at the Solihull factory said the new FFRRs were 'worth their money'.

...Not so sure he was right now! Researching my first Range Rover purchase

Lets not throw the baby out with the bath water just yet.

With a 12 month waiting list arguably they could charge more.

Until production models start rolling off then no informed opinion can be made re build quality. IMHO

The argument concerning a 12 month waiting list is probably the same as for when the Evoque was launched in my opinion. They still claim long delivery times for the Evoque, but if you go on Autoscout24 there are huge amounts of new Evoque's to be found. The same will be for the L405. Of course, one has to make a concession in regard to colour, interior and bits and pieces...That said, it's for the LHD, not sure about the UK though..

I thought they had started rolling off the line already?

being pre production you would expect them to be THE best ones though, the best materials and such forth. not Censored on a stick pushed out the door for a laugh to see how easy it would be to make more money by spending less money! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
