Nothing which can be done (easily at least) and yes, one of those annoying things which Land Rover seem to manage to design in to every one of their products.

What are you using your rear window for anyway? It's a Range Rover, surely you can just do what you want and anyone that gets in your way is a pleb?

Also, the park position tucked away is good for the aesthetics but lousy for practicality. It lifts dirt up off the back screen and tucks it away under the rear spoiler. It seems more difficult on the later cars (with a starter button) to park it vertically while washing. |

It is one of the stupidest design decisions on the car. Having the pivot at the top means sweeping the water to the top of the screen which, given the universally understood action of gravity, will inevitably do all it can to track down the glass again from there. The "leave the wiper on longer" trick always fails as predicted by an extrapolation of Newton's well known 4th law (No matter how hard you shake it there's always one drop left to run down your leg). Of course if you leave the wiper on long enough to start scribing arcs into the glass then it may avoid the runs, but there will be rather too many unfortunate side effects - not least the smeared detritus resulting from the reknowned aerodynamics which hoovers up every spec of roadmuck onto the back window once progressing at speeds in excess of 30mph. While I accept it would be a bit sheep like for RR designers to move the wiper pivot to the base of the glass like everyone else, it would then at least have a chance of working at its primary function of keeping the rear window clear. By really there should be no wiper and being an Ffrr it should be a super laser beam that blasts the water off across the screen in fine with leaving it on a little longer or just doing the odd wipe afterwards
