Wow shows what's out there! Beaten to it. However I want to be obvious and get a black or dark blue one. You know just to make it easier to wash ahem. Hijack of thread over Wink

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Hi all, just collected our 2007 SC. Til now have been practising on X5's ML's, GL's and a couple of D3's. First FFRR.

I was very close to buying another GL but decided to give the RR a try instead. Very pleased so far, a couple of minor issues, TPM fault on the way home and I can't seem to pair iPhones, but other than that big smiles all round.

Hi all just bought a td6 vogue, I'm not new to rr as I've had a couple of p38 hse's

Looking forward to reading up on the car and enjoying it, I'm not overly worried about the issues they have, I had my eyes open when I researched and bought it and got a good warranty with it

Tony

Hi all, just joined the forum a few days ago. Came across it while looking for a fix to my Phone Bluetooth connectivity issues. The site has been a revelation. Found out so many other things that have proved more than useful. For example I've noticed my steering was getting stiff over the years I have owned my car, found out that its most likely down to the Servotronic valve on the steering column. Just had it replaced yesterday and the car steering is totally transformed.

Anyway here are a few details about my FFRR and its history.

2005 Vogue TD6, Touch screen, pre-face lift model. Registered late 2004. I bought the car as second owner in Feb 2007, so it was just over 2 years old. It had 44k on the clock, now its showing just short of 110k. First thing I did after buying her was fit a PBox performance enhancer to up the performance a tad.

The car has been pretty good to me over the years, only had a few faults other than normal service parts. The first was the rear wiper motor which started leaking into the car a couple of years ago. The second problem was a bit more expensive, the High Pressure fuel pump started to leak, not a big leak but not something you want to leave so replaced that at about 90k. One other part that failed which was strange was the drivers side electrochromatic mirror which decided to go all smokey and frosty. Luckily I picked up a used one on eBay for about 20% of the cost of a new mirror from LR. And the latest part to fail was the Servotronic Valve which I only discovered after reading some of the posts on this site.

All in all I have been pleasantly surprised by the FFRR. Considering I have done over 65K in her in my opinion she has been reliable. I will keep my fingers crossed for the future as the old girl is getting on and the mileage is creeping up.

Hi all,

I've just sold my RRS TDV8 (PaulB on RRSPORT.CO.UK) through We Buy Any Car.com and I'll be picking up my new RR Westminster next Tuesday. Baltic Blue with Ivory leather. Looking forward to it.

They offered £1,000 more than the LR main dealer against the new RR. It was quick and easy and I hate selling cars.

I'll post some pictures when I get it.
