my plans are to get hold of an old back box to cut open, need to see what goes where, I then want to fit a pair of motorised exhaust valves that will open when sport mode is selected, this will be purely for looks or rather sound and I don’t think it will have any effect on the performance, a friend of mine removed his back box totally and it sounded awesome but not something you would want droning on a 200 mile round trip so hence the valves. There is a company called tony banks who make a set of back boxes that will give you the V8 grunt but I am not sure how they would sound when on the motor way V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Have you considered removing your back box and putting two "cherry bombs" on there. They are cheap and cheerful and should give you an idea what it sounds like. You can stick the cherry bombs on the valves in the final config as well. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
